One a Day: Throw These 20 Things in Your Kitchen Away
Ready to dispose of your clutter? This list of things to sort through and get rid of, inspired by Marie Kondo's KonMari Method, will help you rid yourself of all the unnecessary items you've been holding onto. How do you know what to toss? Forget about when you may use it one day (the harsh answer is never!). Instead, assess whether or not it "sparks joy." Hold each item in your hand and be honest with yourself as to how it makes you feel. If you notice a heaviness at the pit of your stomach and you've begun to srunch your eyebrows or purse your lips, that's a sign it's time to let the thing go! Things that "spark joy" will perk you up, make you stand a little taller, and put a little smile on your face. So go through this list in the order it's presented and start throwing away (or donating) those things that no longer serve you.
